About Dr. Ravi Gupta MD
Dr Ravi Gupta founded Lifeline Internal Medicine to be able to help his patients live a healthy, happy and balanced life. His specialty is taking primary care of the whole person. Through his years of work as a hospitalist, he has gained significant experience working with a variety of patients and conditions. He understands the importance of proper care after being released from the hospital. Dr. Gupta is able to take care of you from hospital to home. It is his passion to help his patients on the road to recovery and wellness. Dr Gupta specializes in all adult primary care areas including men’s health.
Dr. Ravi Gupta was born in Gwalior, India, and received his medical training in India and the United States. He has practiced Internal Medicine in a private-practice setting since February 2009.
Dr. Gupta earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Gajra Raja Medical College, J.A. Group of Hospitals in Gwalior, India, where he also completed internships concentrated on the practice of Internal Medicine. Following his training, Dr. Gupta served for more than a decade as a consultant Radiologist in Delhi, India.
In July 1999, Dr. Gupta left India and moved to the United States, where he successfully passed the United States Medical Licensing Examination. After passing the exam, Dr. Gupta completed his post-graduate training with a residency in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai, Veterans Hospital in Bronx, NY.
Since arriving in Arizona, Dr. Gupta has worked as a hospitalist for two separate organizations, Dignity Health and Banner Health, before founding Lifeline Internal Medicine Associates and serving as the practice’s Medical Director. Dr. Gupta still works as a hospitalist for Chandler Regional Hospital, Mercy Gilbert Hospital, Banner Baywood Medical Center and Banner Baywood Heart Hospital.
Dr. Gupta is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Arizona and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
